  • The Purge. Thursday 14.08.2014 Zuerich

  • Her. on DVD. 19.08.2014 4 out of 5
  • The Fault in our Stars, 23.08.2014 in Lausanne. It’s a nicely done movie with a great lovestory, but it’s so extremly sad. It was so sad, that a woman in our cinema was sobbing out loud!
  • The Purge – Anarchy (14.08.2014 with M). I expected it to be an insanely brutal splatter movie. To my surprise it was just brutal, which made me glad. 3 out of 5

  • Dracula Untold 10.10.2014 in Zürich
  • The End Of The Special Time We Were Allowed (Jap/e) (7.11.2014, Cinema Houdini, Ginmaku Festival) Beautiful documentary movie about a singer. Tragic: The singer kills himself during filming.
    • The director has difficulties dealing with the loss of his friend. He creates a subplot to fill up the rest of the movie. It’s really nicely done. The singer was very talented, it’s a shame! His name was Masuda Sota (増田壮太) 5 of 5 points.
  • My House (08.11.2014) Japanese Movie about a couple that lives in a selfmade home. They are seen as homeless but have everything they need to have. Brilliant movie which is sad and also a commentary about the japanese rat race and it’s victims. Pressure creates pressure that has to go somewhere. 4 of 5.
  • The Frivolous. Japanese movie about no chance politicians that run for office even tough they have no chance and there is a big fee to pay (20k $). It shows the real-life example of Mac Akasa and others, which ran for Osaka Major. Very funny. The 2 filmmakers where present. 4 of 5.
  • The Hunger Games: Mockingjay (01.12.2014 with the gang). Good, but too long. Streched out. 2 .5 out 5
  • Interstellar. Great movie, nicely done. Good twists and surprising. The cinematography is outstanding. inspiring. 4 out of 5.
  • The Hobbit Part 3 (20.12. 2014 with M and Co)   Fitting end for the trilogy. However, it was so stretched out and in parts very unrealistic. There was a fight at the end where attacker should have fallen down.
  • Nightcrawler (December 2014 with PP and L)
  • The Theory of Everything. (08.01.2015 with S). Sad, but with the strong postive story of Stephen Hawkings. Stay strong even tough there are obstacles. “People who boast about their I.Q. are losers.” “However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succed at.” 3.5 out 5
